Darren Kelly WINS at Baypark - D1NZ Drifting Championship 2022

3x New Zealand Drifting Champion Darren Kelly has been the latest Kiwi export competing in the USA based Formula Drift series - piloting an 850hp V12 powered Aston Martin Vantage. Back home for a one-off appearance at the 2022 D1NZ Grand Final to hand over the trophy to the new 'Drift-King' - Darren entered the Pro Class behind the wheel of his Heart of Racing R35 GTR, powered by a 3.4L RB30DET.

Despite crashing into the wall in practice, and not competing in the series for most of the year, Darren found himself in the final - and eventually taking the round win for the event.
