Fanga Dan’s Holden VZ Commodore (2013)

Back in the Time Machine with this door banger for our OTV Thursday Throwbacks!

Raw GoPro footage from Fanga Dan in the Holden Commodore & Kyle Jackaways in the Nissan S13 swapping paint in the Top32 battles; Round 5 of the 2013 D1NZ Drifting Championship held at Ruapuna Raceway in Christchurch.

Kyle so happened to be borrowing Jake Hakaraia’s Pro-AM Chassis for the competition… handed back with battle scars no less.

The LS powered Castrol Edge backed Holden VZ Commodore was one of the most iconic drift cars of it’s time - Fanga Dan was on target that year to win his second championship, eventually the becoming the first driver to win the series in a V8 (as well as the first non-Nissan chassis to do so)
