DriftSouth: Round 2, Ruapuna B Track - 2020/21 Season

Round 2 of the DriftSouth Series 2020/21 Season got underway on the 7th of November - G.D Autosport delivering us a fresh set of video tape to chop up, we had to convert it from VHS. It got sent in the mail. Nah jokes shits digital these days. The skids are still real though.

D1NZ Pro-Sport Champion Michael Thorley topped the qualifying session in his C33 Laurel, with Tom Ickenroth (Nissan S13) taking the round victory over Daniel Currie (2JZ S15). Sheldon Kneale took out third place with former series champion Glen Pupich pulling out with mechanical issues.

Final Top 4 Overall:
1st. Tom Ickenroth
2nd. Daniel Currie
3rd. Sheldon Kneale
4th. Glen Pupich

Championship Top 5 after Round 2:
1st. Tom Ickenroth 157
2nd. Daniel Liemburg 137
3rd. Sheldon Kneale 137 (2nd equal)
4th. Shannon Davison-Redmond 134
5th. Alex Pirlea 134
