19 Year Old WINS New Zealand Drifting Championship!
19 year old Kase Pullen-Burry has won the 2024 New Zealand Drifting Championship with a record-smashing drive in the D1NZ Pro Series. Piloting the Core Civil Construction backed S14.5 Silvia, powered by a Toyota 2JZ Engine; the young-gun scored the highest ever season points total (442 of a maximum 570)
Kase stormed into the competitive drift scene winning every event in the 2023 D1NZ Pro-Sport Development Series (restricted to a 235 wide radial tyre), also grabbing pole position in 4 out of the 5 rounds.
He then made the switch to the big 265 Semi-Tyres running in the 2024 Pro-Championship; winning the first two events of the season.
His win streak at 7 rounds unbroken across the two classes is likely never to be repeated. That's 28 battles in a row undefeated.
The next challenge? World Time Attack in Sydney Australia, where Kase will represent the Kiwis for the Garrett International Drifting Cup.
