Warm Hearts Winter Appeal: Variety NZ
The Valvoline D1NZ Drifting Championship is supporting Variety New Zealand - The Children’s Charity.
We need your help to provide proper beds and warm bedding for 417 disadvantaged Kiwi kids who are sleeping on the floor or bed-sharing this winter.
Unfortunately, many of the children that Variety NZ supports are predisposed to underlying health issues such as bronchiolitis, asthma and eczema.
A bed is more than just a place to sleep – it’s the foundation for wellbeing. Last year, Variety NZ received an influx of applications for beds, and they were able to help, thanks to the wonderful support from Kiwi communities. This year, there are more cases of children sharing beds, sleeping on furniture or the floor, and battling respiratory illness.
We know the importance of healthy sleep, and the difference it can make to a young person’s long-term wellbeing. By donating to Variety’s Warm Hearts Winter Appeal, you’re helping give Kiwi kids a warmer, safer place to rest, heal and dream.
We're on a mission to help raise as much as we can for Variety New Zealand's Warm Hearts Winter Appeal as part of next weekend's D1NZ drift show at ASB Showgrounds. We'll also be hosting a fund-raiser throughout the night LIVE on Sky Sport NZ, Saturday 4th July 2020.
