Pro Drifter Gaz Whiter Slides 800hp+ SPRINT CAR

Back in 2012, (then) three-time New Zealand drifting champion Gaz Whiter scored the opportunity to drive Jamie McDonald's 800hp+ Sprint Car alongside NZ Touring Car champion Andy Booth.

The three-way driver swap put their skillsets into foreign motorsport environments, each driving a Sprint Car, Drift Car, and Touring Car.

For one reason or another, along with a corrupted hard drive that had to be recovered, we've finally dug out the footage from our cameras - cutting together a behind the scenes look at Gaz sliding this methanol injected monster around Baypark Speedway in Tauranga.

Not long after his taste of drifting on the speedway clay, Gaz went on to win his 4th D1NZ Drifting Championship title - becoming the most successful driver in the national series.
