Thursday Throwbacks!

Digging into the archives this week - Watch Nico Reid Drift in the Luxury Sports Nissan Silvia S15 - laying down some RB25DET heat on the custom D1NZ layout in Whangarei 2013.

The custom drift course was setup inside the (then) Toll Trucking Yard on the southside of Whangarei - a mix of concrete walls and carpark-style technical work made for a pretty neat event for the fans in Northland.

Nico was the first driver to win the Pro-AM Series and step into the Pro Championship, a glory run of driving over the next few years would see him become a legendary name in the D1NZ & NZ Drifting scene.
