Round 2 of the 2021/22 DriftSouth series brought us "The Sweeper Challenge" at Mike Pero Motorsport Park (Ruapuna). Brogan Mooney took the win in a borrowed car, with Daniel Johnson in second and Johnny Baxter in third.

Zac Palmer would lead the series after Round 2, with 160 points ahead of Brogan Mooney on 157, and Cody Hayden-Holmes with 137.
