Former Pro-Sport Series winner Mike Thorley from Custom Drift took on the opening round of 2022 D1NZ Drifting Championship behind the wheel of his RB powered Nissan 180sx.

Thorley would finish up 7th overall for Round 1 and 13th for Round 2, with more in the tank heading into Round 3 at Hampton Downs.
