D1NZ Drifting Championship Announces 2023 Season Calendar

Next year marks 20 years sideways for the Drift Club of New Zealand - where for the first time, the Valvoline D1NZ National Drifting Championship joins the 67th New Zealand Grand Prix for Round 1 at Hampton Downs over the 3rd and 4th of February, followed by Mt Smart Stadium two weeks later.

The Pro-Sport Restricted Class also have their series dates released, with Round 1 kicking off at Hampton Downs alongside NZ Drift Matsuri over the 10th and 11th of February.

Super Sprint NZ: 2024 Series Calendar Announced

In a landmark move the promoters of the 2023 Super Sprint MotorSport New Zealand Championship have announced the 2024 calendar before the current season has started.

The 2024 summer race series comprises eight events including a return to Christchurch’s Mike Pero Motorsport Park at Ruapuna. The championship calendar will be headlined by the Castrol Toyota Racing Series (featuring the New Zealand Grand Prix) and Toyota 86 Series.

Other categories will contest select rounds including GT New Zealand and D1NZ – New Zealand’s premier drift class.
